What constitutes a valid address when entering in my Personal and Business Information?

A valid business and/or personal address is a physical street address (including City, State, and ZIP) where the home/business is located. Post Office Boxes are not acceptable as a form of address verification.

In accordance with federal regulations, the Lowe’s PreLoad PLUS sign-up process adheres to the Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements and verifies the identity of all individuals wishing to conduct financial transactions.

What this means for you: When you open a card account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
